Real Life Photography Conference

In 2016 Erika Mann and Callandra Caufield launched the Real Life Conference in Canmore, a much-needed women’s conference for photographers. Kirsten Lewis Bethmann spoke in 2016 and Jenna Shouldice spoke the following year, both women walking away with so much more than just your average conference experience. Both years, the women were blown away by the content of the talks and the quality of learning that was provided. The conversations between the attendees alone were enough to make them both sign up to attend in 2018. The DFA has decided to team up with the Real Life Conference and we’re excited about what’s to come. To start, let’s talk about you attending this conference with Kirsten and Jenna:

Until May 31st, Real Life is offering ticket sales at a discounted “Early Bird” rate, and an additional $100 off for the Documentary Family Awards community.

You can access the discount code in our DFA Facebook support group.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/documentaryfamilyawards/

Last year in anticipation of the conference, Real Life did an interview series with the speakers, and they’ve blogged their interview with Jenna recently as part of the countdown to the end of early bird sales. You can listen or watch Jenna’s interview on their blog here: https://www.reallifeconference.com/blog/jenna-shouldice

Both Kirsten and Jenna personally recommend this conference (seriously, it’s incredible) and we hope to see you this year!!
