It’s been a few weeks since submissions closed, and you might be wondering what comes next?
What is happening behind-the-scenes right now:
As we speak, guest judges Cristal Wallin, Zalmy Berkowitz and Rowena Meadows are thoughtfully looking through the entirety of this round’s photo submissions. Each guest judge will be choosing their top 30 photos from each category as well as their top 10 – 20 series, and these choices will move on to the final round of live judging.
When is the Live Judging?
The final judging will take place during an all-day live-stream broadcast, that you can watch! Fearless Founder Huy Nguyen will be joining Kirsten Lewis and Jenna Shouldice to discuss the photos that made it through to the final round of judging.
The live-stream broadcast will take place during the second week of December. Watch for an email announcement with the exact date, approximately 1 week before the broadcast airs.
Where can I watch it?
The final judging will be live-streamed to the public on our website.
What if I miss the live-stream?
The broadcast of the final judging is free for anyone to watch while it is live-streamed. If you miss the live-stream, a recording of the judging will be available for purchase afterwards. Everyone who has submitted to this current round of the DFA’s will receive a FREE subscription to the most recent video archive so they can re-watch the judging process.
